No one has a heart quite like Miranda Lambert.

During the latest episode of Bunny Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast, the country star, 40, opened up about how being childfree has allowed space for her to mentor a “younger generation” of artists.

“Since I don’t have children of my own, I want to use that part of what I’ve learned for, you know, younger generations, especially of artists because nobody tells you how this goes,” the “Drunk” artist told the podcast host, 44. “Nobody sits there and gives you a handbook of, like, ‘Well, when you make it to this level, this is what’s gonna happen.’”

Lambert added, “Just seeing the fire in the eyes of, like, someone just starting out, it reignites your fire.”

She also explained that when she experiences “burnout,” helping younger artists is something that replenishes her soul.

“Being around that new fire and young people that are so hungry and so inspired is like, ‘I want some of that,’ you know. And I wanna give them some of the wisdom and some of the reminders [to] enjoy the ride,” Lambert said.

The “Wranglers” artist added, “I wanna just be there for anybody that just needs a sounding board because I’ve been there.”

Elsewhere in the episode, Lambert discussed the burnout she experienced last summer.

“I didn’t realize what it was until I was like, ‘I think this is what they call burnout’ — just from not taking a break or a long enough one,” she said.

Lambert, who wrapped up a Las Vegas residency last summer, said “a couple of days at a time” off wasn’t enough to offset her hectic schedule.

“I just feel like we have to learn the balance,” she said. “It’s really hard when you’re so driven to relax into doing nothing. But if you don’t recharge, it’s like then you’re only operating at 50% anyway.”

While Lambert assured Bunnie that the burnout didn’t mean that she’s “quitting forever,” it did help her come to some realizations.

“It was just one of those moments,” she said. “I’ve had those over the years.”
