TikTok has finally decided to restore its service in the US, less than 24 hours after it underwent a nationwide shutdown.
Many users across the board were so upset with the news as they received alerts at midnight about the service no longer being available. However, it did give them a moment of hope after stating that it might be restored thanks to Trump.
Now, we can confirm that it’s back to normal as Donald Trump did intervene allowing the firm the chance to get back on track to serving millions in the country.
The company issued a statement on the matter, in which they thanked new president-elect Donald Trump for clarifying the matter and ensuring that all service providers would not face any penalties when providing the service to over 170M US citizens.
This also means more than 7 million small businesses who were sad about no longer having any income due to the ban were also seen rejoicing and celebrating Trump’s decision which is an executive order.
The news comes after the Supreme Court rejected the appeal made by the company to reconsider the ban under the Biden administration.
