Fans have accused Demi Moore of snubbing Kylie Jenner after a video of the pair’s “awkward” Golden Globes interaction surfaced online – leading to Moore’s daughter speaking out.
The 27-year-old reality star accompanied her boyfriend, Timothée Chalamet, to the prestigious awards ceremony, which took place on Sunday (January 5).
The couple sat at a table beside Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro, Chalamet’s co-stars in A Complete Unknown.
Demi Moore reigned victorious at the award ceremony, picking up the award for the Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy prize for her critically acclaimed performance in body horror The Substance.
The film, which was released last year, follows an aging celebrity who uses a black-market drug to create a much younger version of herself after being fired by her producer.
The 62-year-old star’s big win came against a tough field of contenders, including Cynthia Erivo for Wicked, Mikey Madison for Anora, and Karla Sofía Gascón for Emilia Perez.

After her big win, Moore sauntered over to Jenner and Chalamet’s table.
A behind-the-scenes clip shared online shows the Ghost actress gushing to Elle Fanning, while seemingly ignoring the Kylie Cosmetics founder’s attempt to join the conversation.
At one point in the video, Jenner yells “Congrats” to Moore, who briefly acknowledges her before resuming her conversation with Fanning.
Watch the awkward moment below:The video blew up on various social media platforms, with many accusing Moore of snubbing Jenner.
“Is it just me or did Demi Moore skipped Kylie,” one user on TikTok asked, while another wrote: “Demi straight up ignoring Kylie Jenner.”
A few users on TikTok came to Jenner’s defense and branded the actress’ behavior as “rude”.
“That was actually poor taste Demi,” someone commented. “Don’t like how she ignored Kylie, talked to the other two girls and hopped right over her to talk to Timothee. Don’t like the cattiness! Kylie was clearly trying to congratulate,” a second user added.
While Jenner and Moore have not addressed the viral video, Tallulah Willis, daughter of Bruce Willis and the actress, took to social media to defend her mother.
Tallulah shared TooFab‘s story and wrote that she was “NIPPING THIS STRAIGHT IN THE BUD,” adding: “We spent new year with Elle, so connecting with her after a win was a very organic thing to do, this angel was in total shock and delight and moving throughout a warm room of well wishes.
“There was not snub of any sort, had she seen KJ wanting to congratulate her she would have fully given her the time and space,” Willis added. “Literally just give it all a break and let a gal enjoy her accomplishment.”
So, there you have it – there was absolutely no ill will in Moore’s actions.
In other news, Moore delivered a beautiful acceptance speech, in which she revealed a heartbreaking admission.
The Indecent Proposal actress shared that she had been in the industry for over four decades, and yet this “is the first time” that she’s ever won “anything as an actor”.
“Thirty years ago, I had a producer tell me I was a popcorn actress, and, at that time, I made that mean this wasn’t something I was allowed to have,” she said. “I could do movies that were successful, that made a lot of money, but I couldn’t be acknowledged and I bought in and I believed that.
“That corroded me over time to the point where I thought a few years ago that maybe this was it. Maybe I was complete, maybe I’d done what I was supposed to do,” she continued. “And when I was at kind of a low point, I had this magical, bold, courageous, out-of-the-box absolutely bonkers script come across my desk called The Substance, and the universe told me you’re not done.”
Moore expressed gratitude to the movie’s director Coralie Fargeat, her co-star Margaret Qualley, and “the people who’ve been for me for over 30 years… all the people who stood by me, especially the people who believed in me when I haven’t believed in myself”.

Kylie Jenner and Timothee Chalamet’s public display of affection at the 2025 Golden Globes has left viewers divided.
Attending the Golden Globes together has become a tradition for the A-list couple, who marked their second consecutive appearance at the awards ceremony on Sunday (January 5) at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
The 27-year-old reality TV star stunned in a figure-hugging Versace silver gown which was reportedly inspired by Elizabeth Hurley’s iconic look at the 1999 Council of Fashion Designers of America awards show.
Meanwhile, the Bones and All actor rocked a suit adorned with a thin blue scarf that paid homage to his role as Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown.
The 29-year-old star was up for the Best Actor award. While he lost out to Adrien Brody, he still appeared to have a great night with Jenner by his side.
The couple displayed their affection throughout the evening, sharing several passionate kisses while they were sat at a table beside Chalamet’s co-stars, Elle Fanning and Monica Barbaro.
While the pair only had eyes for each other, they also made sure to engage with other attendees such as Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson, and posed for numerous pictures with guests.
The pictures of Jenner and Chalamet’s PDA at the Golden Globes have sparked a wave of reactions on social media.
“This whole relationship doesn’t make sense. So vague,” one user commented on Instagram, while another exclaimed: “Na uh .. no ABSOLUTELY NO.”
A third slammed: “PR relationship to the max, do y’all think we’re stupid?” and a fourth added: “This makes me sick.”
A few fans came to the couple’s defense, with one person writing: “Why are u all so pressed about other’s peoples lives and relationships?? They look cute! And is none of our business.”
“They are so cute together,” a second echoed. “Y’all are sad and miserable in life. Just [because] you don’t like her doesn’t mean you gotta hate and be jealous,” one more user added.
The couple were first linked in April 2023 but didn’t go public with their relationship until the Los Angeles stop on Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour in September of that year.
Since then, the beauty mogul has been seen by her beau’s side at several events throughout Hollywood, especially as he promotes his latest film.
According to PEOPLE, an insider recently revealed that Jenner has been taking significant steps to integrate the actor into her family life.
