Shania Twain was in for quite the birthday surprise when Boyz II Men joined her onstage in Las Vegas.
On Thursday, Aug. 29, the country singer belatedly celebrated her 59th birthday (the actual date was Aug. 28) during one of the performances of her Las Vegas residency by inviting the members of the iconic R&B group to join her on stage for a duet.
In a video shared to Twain’s X (formerly Twitter) account, fans can be heard cheering as Shawn Stockman, Nate Morris and Wanya Morris stepped onstage to accompany the singer for performances of her 1997 hit “You’re Still The One” and the iconic Boys II Men track “I’ll Make Love To You.”
Twain also received some birthday well-wishes on her actual birthday, too — on Wednesday, her husband Frédéric Thiébaud wished her a happy birthday with a sweet tribute on Instagram.
The businessman, 54, shared a photo of the couple smiling and sharing an intimate moment together on a boat, alongside a happy birthday message.
“Happy birthday to this amazing human being @shaniatwain 😍🥳🎈🍰,” he wrote.
