Love Island USA‘s Kaylor Martin Calls Aaron Evans ‘Disgusting’ After He Confesses to 1 Last Lie at the Reunion
Aaron waited until the season 6 reunion to share just how intimate he and Daniela Ortiz Rivera had been at Casa Amor
Kaylor Martin kept her promise and stood on business with Aaron Evans during the Love Island USA reunion on Monday, Aug. 19.
The season 6 cast of Love Island USA gathered last week to talk about their time on the show, starting with the four couples who made it to the finale. Winners Serena Page and Kordell Beckham shared they were officially boyfriend and girlfriend, as did runner-ups Leah Kateb and Miguel Harichiand JaNa Craig and Kenny Rodriguez. Fourth-place finishers Nicole Jacky and Kendall Washington, too, said they were “still together” but were working through several bumps in the road.
But host Ariana Madix saved the relationship status for Kaylor and Aaron until later in the episode, due to their obviously rocky relationship.
Aaron spoke first and immediately shocked Kaylor with one last revelation about his time at Casa Amor with Daniela Ortiz Rivera.
“I lied to Kaylor, straight-up,” he began. “I didn’t tell her the whole truth. I put my hands down Daniela’s pants. I kissed her, I snogged her. We had loads of romantic connections.”
“What?!” Kaylor interjected before going off on her former beau. “Why didn’t you tell me this two days ago when I was asking you in our hotel room? Why? Be honest with me and look me in the eye when you say that then.”
She continued: “I’m tired of the f—ing excuses. Take accountability and be a man. I just saw you the last three f—ing days in New York and you haven’t said that to me once. Why would you do that? Why do you keep f—ing lying to me? And quit love-bombing me!”
As she went on, she channeled Taylor Swift’s song “The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived” (“I just want to know if rusting my sparkling summer was the goal”) when she said, “Literally, I cannot believe I wasted my entire f—ing summer on you, Aaron.”
“I don’t want anything to do with you,” Kaylor concluded. “I never want to speak to you again. You’re disgusting. And I do not deserve that. And you know, what? I walked into the villa being so confident, and you beat me down, beat me down, beat me down and I left a different girl. It’s not cool and it’s not fun. Leave me alone. You do not deserve me. At all. You’re disgusting.”
Kaylor revealed that she and Aaron had broken up just days before the reunion was taped. In a TikTokvideo, she said that the couple was “done.”
“Aaron and I are not okay,” she added.
Two days later, during an appearance at 92NY in New York City on Aug. 16, she explained that she was ready to move on from the whirlwind romance.
“Listen, I’m very lucky. I’m 22 years old, I’m going to go through heartbreak, falling in love — all of it,” she told host and influencer Remi Bader. “I know we all have maybe been there once or twice, and I’m glad I have been through it and I’m learning from this situation. And I’m single!”
During that same panel, cast mate JaNa Craig applauded Kaylor for staying strong amid the reunion drama.
“At the reunion, one of my top three things was Kaylor standing on business,” JaNa told the crowd.
“Guys, you would be very proud,” Kaylor chimed in. “I didn’t shed a f—ing tear.”
Things fell apart for the pair during the Casa Amor part of the series, where Aaron had a fling with contestant Daniela Ortiz Rivera despite being coupled up with Kaylor for the majority of the season. After seeing the scenes for the first time, Kaylor confessed during a July 31 interview on BFFs podcast that she wanted to “take things really slow.”
“I don’t wanna end things, because I know what Aaron and I had was true and real, but I feel like I just gave him chance after chance,” she said. “And it wasn’t even all of the Casa [Amor] thing, it was just more so him not taking accountability like Kordell [Beckham] did, which really hurt.”
She continued, “I don’t wanna give up on us, but I definitely have my doubts and I was telling Aaron the other day, I have trust issues now and I don’t wanna be that toxic person in this relationship.”
At 92NY, Kaylor maintained that while she did love Aaron, she knew the relationship was not healthy.
“I’m realizing my f—ing worth,” she shared. “Because when you’re in the villa you’re in a little bubble. It’s not normal. It was very hard for me being in there. And I did fall in love and what you guys saw was very genuine.”
