What could happen to your body if you have sex for 12 hours straight like Bonnie Blue

Following Bonnie Blue’s recent event where she slept with over 1000 men in 12 hours, an expert has weighed in on how this impacts the human body.

For those who are blissfully unaware, Bonnie is a 25-year-old British adult entertainment star who likes to push boundaries with her content.

Recently she claims to have slept with 1057 men in 12 hours, which is now the world record.

The event took place in London last Saturday, and Blue later took to TikTok and Instagram to thank the participants.

“Over 1,000 men in a day! Thank you to all the barely legal, barely breathing & the husbands,” she wrote in an Instagram post, echoing comments made in her TikTok videos.

In a video uploaded after the event, Blue claimed her skin looked better post-marathon.

She explained the logistics of the day, stating: “The big 1,000 was completely done. The room was absolutely full. Then we did groups of five, like one after the other of fives. One person would watch whilst I was with somebody, and then it would literally just be like a rotating circle like that.”

Blue’s PR team confirmed the tally to The Sun, stating: “She slept with 1,057 people. As she hit 1,000, there were still 57 left in the queue who Bonnie wanted to pleasure before ending the 12-hour day.”

But what impact could this have on her health? Well, the Metro sought out the advice of experts who were unsurprisingly concerned.

“Prolonged, repetitive, and overly vigorous sexual activity can irritate or abrade genital tissue,” explained Dr. Danae Maragouthakis from the sexual health clinic Yoxly. “This will lead to swelling, bleeding, and discomfort.”

These effects, including cuts, micro-tears, and tenderness, could persist both during and after the act. Dr. Maragouthakis emphasizes that “sex is never meant to be painful.”

Experts warn that engaging in sex with multiple partners over a sustained period significantly increases the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs).

“Irritation and abrasions compromise the integrity of the skin, which increases your chances of picking up or passing on an STI,” says Dr. Maragouthakis. The list of potential infections includes chlamydia, gonorrhea, syphilis, HIV, herpes, and more.

The vaginal microbiome, critical for maintaining a healthy pH balance (typically 3.8 to 5 on the pH scale), can be disrupted during prolonged sexual activity.

“Engaging in sex for such a prolonged period of time and with multiple partners raises the risk of disrupting the vaginal microbiome,” Dr. Maragouthakis noted.

This disruption can lead to bacterial vaginosis (BV), urinary tract infections (UTIs), and other complications.

Dr. Lawrence Cunningham, a general practitioner, added: “The introduction of semen, lubricants, or even just the actions of having sex can alter the vaginal environment, promoting the overgrowth of harmful bacteria.”

The physical demands of prolonged sexual activity can lead to dehydration, much like other intense forms of exercise.

Dr. Cunningham noted: “The physical exertion and perspiration involved can lead to fluid loss. Additionally, if alcohol or certain medications are involved, they can further contribute to dehydration.”

This combination can also trigger migraines and fatigue, further weakening the immune system. “Don’t be surprised if you catch a cold or flu afterward,” added Dr. Cunningham.

Prolonged sexual activity can also have significant psychological effects. Psychosexual therapist Natasha Silverman explained that it is not natural for women to remain in a state of arousal for such extended periods.

“Having sex when no longer turned on can be psychologically and physically painful and distressing, and increase the chances of sexual interactions becoming traumatic,” she said.

Experts unanimously agree that attempting such extreme sexual challenges poses significant risks to both physical and mental health.

From painful physical side effects to potential psychological distress, the repercussions highlight why such endeavors are not advisable.
