The beloved actor, best known for playing Chandler Bing on Friends, tragically passed away aged 54 in October 2023.
Authorities arrived at Perry’s residence around 4:00PM on October 28, 2023, and discovered him in an unresponsive state in his hot tub. Medics were unable to resuscitate the actor and he was pronounced dead. His death was ruled accidental due to the acute effects of ketamine.
Since the tragedy, the 17 Again star’s home was bought for a staggering $8.55 million by real estate developer Anita Verma-Lallian on October 16, 2024.
The 42-year-old took to Instagram to gush about her purchase, stating: “We are so excited to share that we bought a home in Los Angeles…The moment I walked into the home, I absolutely fell in love with the features, especially the view of the Pacific Ocean. We knew it was ‘the one’ and decided to write an offer on it immediately.”

Due to the horrific wildfires ravaging Los Angeles, Perry’s former residence – where he was found deceased – was surrounded by fire on Wednesday (January 8).
The Palisades Fire has scorched over 15,000 acres and destroyed approximately 1,000 structures. Tens of thousands of residents in the area have been ordered to evacuate, per Daily Mail.
According to Realtor.com, neighbors on Blue Sail Drive posted horrifying footage of the rapidly approaching blaze to social media.
While the new owner has not yet commented on the state of the property, she did share an Instagram Story stating that her family is “safe”.
“Thank you to all who reached out. Our family is safe and we are awaiting updates. Praying for all those affected by the wildfires,” Verma-Lallian added.
She also re-posted BBC News footage of Pacific Palisades properties engulfed in flames as winds swept through the affected area.

Several celebrities have been impacted by the devastating flames. Actors Adam Brody and Leighton Meester’s $7 million mansion was engulfed in flames, as well as Anna Faris’s eco-friendly home, which was valued at $5 million.
