In 2008, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt saw their family grow following the birth of their twins, Knox and Vivienne.
The teenager has grown up right before our eyes, with astonishing pictures capturing how much Knox Jolie-Pitt has changed over the years.
This includes what he looks like now, all grown up. The teenager’s recent appearance left social media users with divided opinions.
Candid images show why some people believed he was “Brad’s clone.”
However, others thought Knox Jolie-Pitt surprisingly looked like another family member.

Dr. Michel Sussmann, who oversaw the delivery, confirmed the happy news. “The babies are doing well. The operation went just perfectly. Angelina is in very good spirits. Brad Pitt was at her side. He was there and all was well,” he stated.

Knox was born weighing 5.03 pounds while his twin sister weighed 5 pounds. One of his earliest public outings came a few months after his birth when he was spotted in Japan with his father in 2009.

Shortly after Knox and his twin sister’s birth, the Jolie-Pitt family made headlines again with a remarkable decision. The couple sold exclusive photos of their newborn twins. They sold them for a whopping $14 million.
This was a record-breaking amount at the time. A person in the negotiations revealed that People magazine and a British tabloid were granted joint rights to publish these sought-after images.

The money was more than double the amount People magazine had previously paid for the exclusive photos of Jennifer Lopez’s twins. It was reported that a desire for profit did not drive the couple’s decision to sell these photos. Instead, Brad and Angelina donated the entire $14 million to a children’s foundation.

The addition of Knox and his twin sister brought the Jolie-Pitt family to a total of six children. Before welcoming Knox and his sister, Angelina had expressed a desire to expand her family with her husband.
However, the news that she was expecting twins even surprised the couple. “We weren’t expecting twins. So it did shock us, and we jumped to six [children] quickly. But we like a challenge,” Angelina candidly shared.

The older children enthusiastically embraced their roles as big siblings. This was especially true for the power couple’s older daughters. “[Shiloh] and Z pick out [the twins’] clothes and help change and hold them. It’s sweet—they are little mommies,” Angelina said.
In November 2011, Knox was photographed sweetly griping his older sister’s hand as the family of eight was seen arriving at Haneda International Airport in Tokyo. The toddler looked like his father’s mini-me as the pair rocked long, dirty-blonde locks.

Knox Jolie-Pitt: 5 – 6 Years Old
By 2013, Knox was often spotted out and about with his famous parents. In April, the adorable 5-year-old was photographed donning a red and white jacket while accompanying his mother in New York. He still had his adorable long hair and looked more and more like his parents as the years went on.

Knox and his twin sister drew much public attention following their birth. This was due to their names. Many had speculated the twins would be girls named Isla Marcheline and Amelie Jane.
Instead, Brad and Angelina looked back at their family histories for inspiration. They created names with deep personal and familial meanings. Knox is a rarely used Scottish, English, and Irish surname. It was also the middle name of Brad’s grandfather, Hal Knox Hillhouse.

Additionally, instead of their sons sharing the same first initial, they share the last letter “x.” Their middle names also share the letter “n,” creating a meaningful link between the siblings.
The name Leon, Knox’s middle name, is the name of Angelina’s great-great-grandfather. This connection to their family’s history adds depth to Knox’s full name.

Vivienne’s name, on the other hand, reflects her birth in France and means “life” and “alive.” Her middle name, Marcheline, was particularly significant for Angelina. It was a tribute to the actress’s mother, with whom Angelina shared a close bond.
